Short for probability, prediction, and planning, Burn-P3 is a spatial fire simulation model that is used for land-management planning and wildland fire research. It uses the Canadian Wildland Fire Simulation Model to determine the ignition and spread of a very large number of fires in order to determine fire likelihood.
